3.5 AI Services

We use third-party AI services to generate recipes and recipe images. When you request a recipe, the ingredients and preferences you provide may be sent to these AI services. These services process the data to generate personalised recipes and do not retain your personal information beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

3.6 App Stores

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms may collect information about you in accordance with their own privacy policies. Subscription payments are processed by Apple and Google, and we do not have access to your payment card details.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With the third-party service providers described in Section 3, solely to provide and improve the Service.
• Shared Recipe Library: Recipes you generate may be added to our shared recipe library, which is accessible to all users. This library does not include your personal information or account details.

• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes. Recipes that have been added to the shared recipe library will remain in the library but will not be associated with your account.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure authentication mechanisms, and regular security assessments. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
